PARENTS' ASSOCIATION
Parents’ Association - Aims and Objectives.
The aims and objectives of the St.Michael’s College Parent’s Association, as set out in the Constitution are as follows: To support and initiate activities which advance the aims and objectives of St.Michael’s College, in collaboration with process of governance and management; To promote the role of parents and guardians as the prime educators of their children; To provide opportunities for discussion, information and consultation about matters of common and/or topical interest to parents, teachers and students of St.Michael’s College; and To become aware of and embody the ethos of the College and its Spiritan influence so that all can advance in spirit of cooperation and mutual support to the benefit of parents, teachers and the community.
Composition.
The Parents’ Association Committee is made up of two representatives from each year from 1st - 6th Year. Elections to committee take place every year at the AGM of the Parents’ Association. Meetings are held monthly and are attended by the representatives of each Year as well as the parent representatives from the Board of Management and the Principal and/or Deputy Principal of the school.

'Building on Success'.
In 2019, a wide-scale survey of our parents, produced a blueprint for future planning. The results of this research have informed much of the development evident in subsequent years. A summary of the survey results is attached below.
