Our basketball program has grown over the last number of years, with more students playing the sport than ever. Teams at all age grades have won regional and national trophies, with the school being promoted to the 'B' Division in 2019. We encourage as many students as possible to get involved in basketball. It is a very enjoyable sport that develops many skills that are transferable to a range of other sports, as well as fostering the skills of teamwork and communication.

We field four competitive teams: 1st Year, 2nd Year, Under-16 & Under-19.  Trials are held at the beginning of the academic year for the 1st and 2nd Year teams and before the summer break for the Under-16 & Under-19  teams.

We also have development squads for those who don't make the first teams. It is important to the program that all players are given the opportunity to enjoy and improve in the sport of basketball.
